In Friday's league game, the Southwood Knights (Wabash, IN) football team edged the host Peru Tigers (Peru, IN), by a tally of 20-14.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Whitko Wildcats (South Whitley, IN) in a Three Rivers game, on Friday, October 10. Southwood will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 1-6 record after their 42-0 league loss to Manchester (North Manchester, IN).
