Louisiana High School Volleyball - A.J. Ellender edged by Southern Lab
October 3, 2025: Baton Rouge, LA 70813 Southern Lab Kittens (Baton Rouge, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball team hold off the visiting A.J. Ellender Patriots (Houma, LA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Kittens (14-14) will now prepare for their challenge against De La Salle (New Orleans, LA). The Cavalier enter the non-league challenge with a 5-9 record. In their last challenge, De La Salle was tipped by Belle Chasse (Belle Chasse, LA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Patriots face the St. John Eagles (Plaquemine, LA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, October 4. A.J. Ellender will attempt to improve on its 13-11 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 6-11 record after their 3-0 league win over Family Christian (Baton Rouge, LA).
