With the win, A.J. Ellender improves its record to 11-2 on the season. The Patriots travel to Highland Baptist Christian (New Iberia, LA) to face the Bears in a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. The Bears go into the test with a record of 8-5. Highland Baptist Christian won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Delcambre (Delcambre, LA)
The Rams now own a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Varnado for a non-league test on Monday, September 29. West St. John will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Lutheran (Metairie, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-6.
