The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Cortez Colts (Phoenix, AZ) and the visiting Yuma Criminals (Yuma, AZ), saw Cortez's volleyball squad nudge Yuma by a score of 3-2.

With the win, Cortez improves its record to 4-12 on the season. The Colts travel to Tempe (Tempe, AZ) to encounter the Buffaloes in a 4A - Black Canyon battle on Monday, October 20. The Buffaloes enter the contest with a record of 3-8.
