October 3, 2025: Dodd City, TX 75438 The Dodd City Hornets volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Sulphur Bluff Bears to 0 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Friday.
The Hornets now possess a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Savoy for a 1A Region III District 21 outing on Tuesday, October 7. Dodd City will play a Cardinals team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Ector (Ector, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-18.
With the loss, Sulphur Bluff drops to 12-10 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Miller Grove (Cumby, TX) to play the Hornets in a 1A Region III District 22 outing on Tuesday, October 7. The Hornets come into the outing with a record of 1-21. Miller Grove lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Ector (Ector, TX)
