In Friday's league match, the North Tahoe Lakers (Tahoe City, CA) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV), by a count of 3-1.

Next up, the Lakers battle the Oasis Academy Bighorns (Fallon, NV) in a 2A Northern match, on Saturday, October 4. North Tahoe will attempt to move on its 13-4 season record. The Bighorns enter the match with a 4-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Pershing County (Lovelock, NV).

The Mustangs now own a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Yerington for a 2A Northern battle on Wednesday, October 8.
