New York High School Volleyball - Port Jervis edged by Marlboro Central
October 30, 2023: Port Jervis, NY 12771 The Marlboro Central Dukes held off the host Port Jervis Raiders volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Monday's non-league test.
The Dukes now have a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wallkill for a MHAL test on Wednesday, November 1. Marlboro Central will confront a Panthers team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Mount Academy (Esopus, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 23-6.
The Raiders (9-8) will now prepare for their test against Marlboro (Marlboro, NJ). The Mustangs enter the non-league test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, Marlboro was nudged by Bridgewater-Raritan (Bridgewater, NJ), 2-0, in a non-league test.
