Texas High School Football - Ridge Point trounces Fort Bend Hightower

In Thursday's league match, the host Ridge Point Panthers football squad scored a decisive 44-6 triumph over the Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes.

The Panthers (9-0) will now prepare for their match against Fort Bend Austin (Sugar Land, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 6A Region III District 21 battle with a 2-7 record. In their last battle, Fort Bend Austin was ripped by Fort Bend Bush (Richmond, TX), 76-71, in a league battle.

The Hurricanes now have a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Fort Bend Elkins for a 6A Region III District 21 battle on Thursday, November 6. Fort Bend Hightower will meet a Knights squad coming off a 44-12 league win over Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX). The Knights record now stands at 5-4.
