The Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes overwhelmed the host Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs football squad by a count of 63-7 in Friday's league test.

The Hurricanes now have a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Ridge Point for a 6A Region III District 21 challenge on Thursday, October 30. Fort Bend Hightower will face a Panthers team coming off a 70-0 league win over Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 8-0.

The Bulldogs (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Fort Bend Bush (Richmond, TX). The Broncos come into the 6A Region III District 21 test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Fort Bend Bush was overwhelmed by Fort Bend Travis (Richmond, TX), 55-29, in a league test.
