October 31, 2022: Mount Desert, ME 04660 The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the John Bapst Memorial Crusaders (Bangor, ME) and the host Mount Desert Island Trojans (Mount Desert, ME), saw John Bapst Memorial's soccer squad get by Mount Desert Island by a margin of 2-1.
The Crusaders now sport a 15-0 record. They play next when they travel to Winslow for a non-league test on Wednesday, November 2. John Bapst Memorial will meet a Black Raiders squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Ellsworth (Ellsworth, ME). The Black Raiders record now stands at 16-0.
With the loss, Mount Desert Island drops to 9-6 on the season.
