In Tuesday's league contest, the Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) volleyball squad nudged the visiting Espanola Valley Sundevils (Espanola, NM), by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Tigers face the Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) in a 4A District 2 contest, on Thursday, November 2. Taos will attempt to better on its 10-10 season record. The Hilltoppers go into the contest with a 13-7 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Menaul (Albuquerque, NM).

With the loss, Espanola Valley moves to 5-16 on the year. The Sundevils host Moriarty (Moriarty, NM) to face the Pintos in a 4A District 2 contest on Thursday, November 2. The Pintos go into the contest with a record of 4-16. Moriarty lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM)
