In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg Patriots volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Central Cass Squirrels.

The Patriots (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Hillsboro (Hillsboro, ND). The Burros enter the B - Region 2 challenge with a 20-6 record. In their last challenge, Hillsboro was beaten by Grafton (Grafton, ND), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Squirrels meet the Richland Colts (Colfax, ND) in a B - Region 1 challenge, on Monday, November 4. Central Cass will attempt to upgrade on its 13-6 season record. The Colts enter the challenge with a 7-12 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Maple River (Mapleton, MN).
