The Bishop Badgers were winner over the visiting Raymondville Bearkats football squad by a margin of 60-45 in Friday's league test.

The Badgers now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Falfurrias for a 3A-1 Region IV District 16 game on Friday, November 7. Bishop will face a Fightin' Jerseys team coming off a 34-32 league loss to San Diego (San Diego, TX). The Fightin' Jerseys record now stands at 2-7.

The Bearkats (6-3) will now prepare for their game against Santa Gertrudis Academy (Kingsville, TX). The Lions enter the 3A-1 Region IV District 16 game with a 2-6 record. In their last game, Santa Gertrudis Academy fell by Lyford (Lyford, TX), 31-16, in a league outing.
