Jefferson Mustangs (San Antonio, TX) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Brackenridge Eagles (San Antonio, TX), 32-29 in a league battle.

With the win, Jefferson improves its record to 3-6 on the season. The Mustangs host Edison (San Antonio, TX) to play the Golden Bears in a 5A-2 Region III District 12 battle on Saturday, November 8. The Golden Bears go into the battle with a record of 0-9. Edison lost 47-13 in their recent league battle against Burbank (San Antonio, TX)

The Eagles now have a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Highlands for a 5A-2 Region III District 12 battle on Thursday, November 6. Brackenridge will play a Owls team coming off a 48-24 league loss to Sam Houston (San Antonio, TX). The Owls record now stands at 1-8.
