California High School Football - Foothill can't hold off Chico

October 31, 2025: Chico, CA 95926

The Chico Panthers got by the visiting Foothill Cougars football team by a score of 7-6 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers play the Red Bluff Spartans (Red Bluff, CA) in a Eastern challenge, on Friday, November 7. Chico will attempt to improve on its 8-1 season record. The Spartans go into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 61-14 league win over Shasta (Redding, CA).

With the defeat, Foothill drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Cougars host Enterprise (Redding, CA) to meet the Hornets in a Eastern test on Friday, November 7. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 3-6. Enterprise lost 50-38 in their recent league test against Pleasant Valley (Chico, CA)
