Dowling Catholic Maroons (West Des Moines, IA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Waterloo West Wahawks (Waterloo, IA), 44-6 in a non-league test.

The Maroons now hold a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Iowa City West for a non-league test on Friday, November 7. Dowling Catholic will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 38-31 non-league win over Cedar Falls (Cedar Falls, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 8-2.

With the defeat, Waterloo West drops to 5-5 on the campaign.
