The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Stamford Bulldogs (Stamford, TX) and the visiting Olney Cubs (Olney, TX), witnessed Stamford's football team bounce Olney by a final score of 60-14.

With the win, Stamford advances its record to 6-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Hawley (Hawley, TX) to encounter the Bearcats in a 2A-1 Region I District 4 bout on Friday, November 7. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Hawley won 64-0 in their recent league contest against Texas Leadership Charter Academy - Abilene (Abilene, TX)

Coming up next, the Cubs confront the Cisco Loboes (Cisco, TX) in a 2A-1 Region I District 4 contest, on Friday, November 7. Olney will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Loboes enter the contest with a 8-1 record after their 35-14 league win over Anson (Anson, TX).
