In Friday's league test, the South Anchorage Wolverines (Anchorage, AK) ice hockey squad bounced the visiting West Anchorage Eagles (Anchorage, AK), by a margin of 7-1.

The Wolverines now own a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eagle River for a Cook Inlet outing on Saturday, November 1. South Anchorage will encounter a Wolves team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Chugiak (Chugiak, AK). The Wolves record now stands at 0-1.
