October 4, 2023: Winthrop, ME 04364 The Monmouth Academy Mustangs soccer team scored 7 points and limited the host Winthrop Ramblers to 1 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Wednesday.
Next, the Mustangs face the Maranacook Black Bears (Readfield, ME) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 13. Monmouth Academy will attempt to better on its 9-1 season record.
The Ramblers now have a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host Mountain Valley for a Class C - South contest on Thursday, October 5. Winthrop will face a Falcons team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Hall-Dale (Farmingdale, ME). The Falcons record now stands at 2-8.
