October 4, 2023: Social Circle, GA 30025 The Social Circle Redskins the visiting Oconee County Warriors softball squad by a count of 9-6 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Redskins (17-8) will now prepare for their battle against Prince Avenue Christian (Athens, GA). The Wolverines go into the 1A D-I Region 5 battle with a 27-0 record. In their last battle, Prince Avenue Christian nudged Oglethorpe County (Lexington, GA), 13-1, in a league battle.
The Warriors now sport a 6-19 record. They play next when they host Monroe Area for a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 10. Oconee County will meet a Purple Hurricanes squad coming off a 10-5 non-league win over Lambert (Suwanee, GA). The Purple Hurricanes record now stands at 8-17.
