The Slaughter Community Charter Knights topped the visiting East Iberville Tigers volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Knights now have a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Catholic of Pointe Coupee for a Division V District 3 test on Monday, October 9.
The Tigers (4-9) will now prepare for their test against Mentorship Academy (Baton Rouge, LA). The Sharks enter the non-league test with a 1-12 record. In their last test, Mentorship Academy was knocked off by West Feliciana (St. Francisville, LA), 3-0, in a league test.
