October 4, 2023: Townsend, DE 19734 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the St. Georges Tech Hawks (Middletown, DE) and the host Odessa Ducks (Townsend, DE), saw St. Georges Tech's volleyball squad beat Odessa by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, St. Georges Tech upgrades its record to 7-2 on the year. The Hawks travel to Indian River (Dagsboro, DE) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 7. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Indian River lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Sussex Academy (Georgetown, DE)
The Ducks now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to DuPont for a Blue Hen Flight - B bout on Monday, October 9. Odessa will play a Tigers squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Delcastle Technical (Wilmington, DE). The Tigers record now stands at 4-3.
