The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Aurora Huskies (Aurora, NE) and the visiting Adams Central Patriots (Hastings, NE), witnessed Aurora's football squad knock off Adams Central by a tally of 21-7.

The Huskies (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln Christian (Lincoln, NE). The Crusaders enter the C1 District 5 contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Lincoln Christian was toppled by Central City (Central City, NE), 52-50, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Patriots battle the Cozad Haymakers (Cozad, NE) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 11. Adams Central will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Haymakers enter the contest with a 5-1 record after their 27-7 league win over Gothenburg (Gothenburg, NE).
