The Central City Bison felled the host Adams Central Patriots football team by a score of 39-22 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Bison play the Lincoln Christian Crusaders (Lincoln, NE) in a C1 District 5 challenge, on Friday, October 4. Central City will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Crusaders go into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 31-0 league win over Milford (Milford, NE).

The Patriots (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Aurora (Aurora, NE). The Huskies go into the C1 District 5 challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Aurora toppled Northwest (Grand Island, NE), 36-35, in a non-league challenge.
