The Nicholas County Bluejackets felled the visiting Fairview Eagles football team by a score of 58-30 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Bluejackets face the Paris Greyhounds (Paris, KY) in a 1A District 6 challenge, on Friday, October 11. Nicholas County will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Greyhounds go into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 21-14 non-league loss to Bishop Brossart (Alexandria, KY).
