First State Military Academy Bulldogs (Clayton, DE) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting St. Andrew's Cardinals (Middletown, DE), 20-10 in a league battle.

With the win, First State Military Academy advances its record to 5-1 on the season. The Bulldogs host Conrad Science (Wilmington, DE) to play the Red Wolves in a 1A District 2 battle on Friday, October 11. The Red Wolves go into the battle with a record of 2-3. Conrad Science lost 34-0 in their recent non-league battle against Odessa (Townsend, DE)

The Cardinals now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Polytech for a 1A District 2 battle on Friday, October 11. St. Andrew's will play a Panthers team coming off a 34-8 non-league win over Christiana (Newark, DE). The Panthers record now stands at 4-1.
