California High School Football - River Islands crushed by Linden

The Linden Lions walloped the host River Islands Riptide football team by a score of 63-0 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions face the Bret Harte Bullfrogs (Angels Camp, CA) in a Mother Lode League challenge, on Friday, October 11. Linden will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Bullfrogs go into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 48-0 league loss to Big Valley Christian (Modesto, CA).

The Riptide (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Summerville (Tuolumne, CA). The Bears go into the Mother Lode League challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Summerville was ripped by Calaveras (San Andreas, CA), 35-34, in a league challenge.
