Iowa High School Football - Nashua-Plainfield sneaks past South Winneshiek
October 4, 2024: Calmar, IA 52132 The Nashua-Plainfield Huskies football squad scored 27 points and limited the host South Winneshiek Warriors to 21 in the Huskies league triumph on Friday.
The Huskies now hold a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host North Butler for a A District 3 test on Friday, October 11. Nashua-Plainfield will meet a Bearcats squad coming off a 28-6 league loss to North Tama (Traer, IA). The Bearcats record now stands at 3-3.
With the defeat, South Winneshiek drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Turkey Valley (Jackson Junction, IA) to meet the Trojans in a non-league test on Monday, October 7. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 4-3. Turkey Valley won 62-26 in their recent league test against Waterloo Christian (Waterloo, IA)
