Pennsylvania High School Football - Shenango loses to Rochester
October 4, 2024: New Castle, PA 16101 Rochester Rams (Rochester, PA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Shenango Wildcats (New Castle, PA), 49-28 in a league battle.
With the win, Rochester advances its record to 2-4 on the season. The Rams host Cornell (Coraopolis, PA) to encounter the Raiders in a non-league battle on Friday, October 11. The Raiders go into the battle with a record of 4-2. Cornell lost 35-6 in their recent league battle against Fort Cherry (McDonald, PA)
The Wildcats now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Laurel for a WPIAL A Big 7 battle on Friday, October 11. Shenango will encounter a Spartans team coming off a 47-18 league win over Summit Academy (Herman, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 3-4.
