Virginia High School Soccer - Trinity Christian nudged by Blue Ridge
October 4, 2024: St. George, VA 22935 Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Trinity Christian Gryphons (Fairfax, VA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Blue Ridge moves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Barons travel to New Covenant (Lynchburg, VA) to clash with the Gryphons in a Blue Ridge Athletic test on Tuesday, October 8. The Gryphons come into the test with a record of 11-1. New Covenant lost 2-1 in their recent league match against North Cross (Roanoke, VA)
The Gryphons now sport a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fredericksburg Christian for a VCAC match on Monday, October 7. Trinity Christian will meet a Eagles team coming off a 6-3 league loss to Seton (Manassas, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-10.
