Missouri High School Softball - Northeast bounces Sturgeon
October 4, 2024: Sturgeon, MO 65284 The Northeast Bearcats softball team scored 13 runs and held the host Sturgeon Bulldogs to 0 in the Bearcats non-league win on Friday.
The Bearcats now possess a 21-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eugene for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 5. Northeast will confront a Eagles team coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Linn (Linn, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 11-12.
With the loss, Sturgeon moves to 2-15 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Atlanta (Atlanta, MO) to confront the Hornets in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 5. The Hornets come into the battle with a record of 5-8. Atlanta lost 6-3 in their recent non-league battle against Brashear (Brashear, MO)
