In Friday's league match, the Lexington Eagles (Lexington, TX) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Little River Academy Bumblebees (Little River Academy, TX), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Eagles battle the Rockdale Tigers (Rockdale, TX) in a 3A Region III District 19 match, on Tuesday, October 8. Lexington will attempt to move on its 25-16 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 4-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to C.H. Yoe (Cameron, TX).
