The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Desert Christian Knights (Lancaster, CA) and the visiting Santa Clarita Christian Cardinals (Canyon Country, CA), witnessed Desert Christian's football squad knock off Santa Clarita Christian by a tally of 26-14.

The Knights (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Malibu (Malibu, CA). The Sharks enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Malibu was toppled by Hillcrest Christian (Thousand Oaks, CA), 60-16, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Cardinals battle the Lancaster Baptist Eagles (Lancaster, CA) in a Heritage (8 Man) contest, on Friday, October 17. Santa Clarita Christian will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record.
