In Saturday's league outing, the Junipero Serra Padres (San Mateo, CA) football squad trounced the visiting St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats (San Francisco, CA), by a margin of 45-10.

The Padres now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory for a West Catholic outing on Saturday, October 11. Junipero Serra will clash with a Fightin' Irish squad coming off a 56-30 league loss to Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA). The Fightin' Irish record now stands at 3-2.
