The Kearney Bearcats volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Adams Central Patriots to 0 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bearcats now have a 16-8 record. They play next when they travel to Norfolk for a A District outing on Tuesday, October 7. Kearney will play a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Fremont (Fremont, NE). The Panthers record now stands at 11-9.
