The Adams Central Patriots volleyball squad (Hastings, NE), was edged 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Northwest Vikings (Grand Island, NE)

With the win, Northwest improves its record to 13-6 on the season. The Vikings travel to Lexington (Lexington, NE) to meet the Minutemen in a non-league contest on Thursday, October 2. The Minutemen enter the contest with a record of 9-13. Lexington won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Alliance (Alliance, NE)
