With the win, University Prep improves its record to 21-8 on the season. The Panthers travel to Yreka (Yreka, CA) to encounter the Miners in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 4. The Miners go into the battle with a record of 13-10. Yreka won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Lassen (Susanville, CA)
Next, the Grizzlies battle the Thurston Colts (Springfield, OR) in a 5A Midwestern contest, on Tuesday, October 7. Ashland will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The Colts enter the contest with a 6-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to North Eugene (Eugene, OR).
