In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Blue Valley North Mustangs volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the St. Teresa's Academy Stars.

The Mustangs (17-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Kickapoo (Springfield, MO). The Chiefs enter the non-league challenge with a 14-10 record. In their last challenge, Kickapoo beat Waynesville (Waynesville, MO), 3-2, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Stars face the Liberty North Eagles (Liberty, MO) in a non-league test, on Saturday, October 4. St. Teresa's Academy will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 10-12 record after their 3-1 league win over Blue Springs South (Blue Springs, MO).
