Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Catholic Central Cougars (Grand Rapids, MI) and the host North Muskegon Norsemen (North Muskegon, MI), observed Catholic Central's volleyball team hold off North Muskegon by a count of 2-1.

The Cougars (26-8) will now prepare for their contest against Kalamazoo Central (Kalamazoo, MI). The Maroon Giants enter the non-league contest with a 7-16 record. In their last battle, Kalamazoo Central tipped Norrix (Kalamazoo, MI), 3-0, in a league battle.
