In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Mona Shores Sailors volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Catholic Central Cougars.

The Sailors (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Rockford (Rockford, MI). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 4-0 record. In their last test, Rockford achieved victory over Holland Christian (Holland, MI), 2-0, in a non-league test.
