Virginia High School Volleyball - Jefferson Christian Academy can't hold off Cornerstone Christian Academy
October 4, 2025: Ripplemead, VA 24150 The Cornerstone Christian Academy Lions (Abingdon, VA) volleyball held off the host Jefferson Christian Academy Cardinals (Ripplemead, VA), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Lions now possess a 15-11 record. They play next when they travel to Rye Cove for a non-league bout on Monday, October 6. Cornerstone Christian Academy will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Thomas Walker (Ewing, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-2.
With the loss, Jefferson Christian Academy drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Mount Hope Christian Academy (Mount Hope, WV) to battle the Warriors in a non-league contest on Monday, October 6. The Warriors enter the contest with a record of 9-2. Mount Hope Christian Academy won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Summers County (Hinton, WV)
