Louisiana High School Volleyball - New Iberia can't hold off St. James
October 4, 2025: St. James, LA 70090 In Saturday's non-league match, the St. James Wildcats (St. James, LA) volleyball squad tipped the visiting New Iberia Yellowjackets (New Iberia, LA), by a count of 2-1.
Next up, the Wildcats battle the Crescent City Christian Pioneers (Metairie, LA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, October 7. St. James will attempt to move on its 6-9 season record. The Pioneers enter the match with a 3-17 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to East Jefferson (Metairie, LA).
The Yellowjackets (6-17) will now prepare for their bout against Southside (Youngsville, LA). The Sharks enter the Division I District 3 contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Southside got by Highland Baptist Christian (New Iberia, LA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
