New York High School Soccer - Shaker nudges Fayetteville-Manlius
October 5, 2023: Latham, NY 12110 The Shaker Bison (Latham, NY) soccer nipped the visiting Fayetteville-Manlius Hornets (Manlius, NY), 4-3 in Thursday's non-league bout.
With the victory, Shaker moves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Bison host Averill Park (Averill Park, NY) to battle the Warriors in a Suburban Council- Blue bout on Tuesday, October 10. The Warriors enter the bout with a record of 3-6.
In their next game, the Hornets battle the Columbia Blue Devils (East Greenbush, NY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, October 7. Fayetteville-Manlius will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record. The Blue Devils enter the bout with a 11-0 record after their 2-0 league win over Guilderland (Guilderland Center, NY).
