New York High School Soccer - Columbia knocks off Fayetteville-Manlius
October 7, 2023: East Greenbush, NY 12061 The Columbia Blue Devils (East Greenbush, NY) soccer the visiting Fayetteville-Manlius Hornets (Manlius, NY), 4-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
With the victory, Columbia moves its record to 12-0 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Bethlehem Central (Delmar, NY) to battle the Eagles in a Suburban Council- Blue bout on Tuesday, October 10. The Eagles enter the bout with a record of 7-1.
In their next game, the Hornets battle the East Syracuse-Minoa Spartans (East Syracuse, NY) in a OHSL- Freedom National bout, on Tuesday, October 10. Fayetteville-Manlius will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Spartans enter the bout with a 8-3 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Victor (Victor, NY).
