Connecticut High School Soccer - Morgan knocks off Westbrook
October 5, 2023: Westbrook, CT 06498 Morgan Huskies (Clinton, CT) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Westbrook Knights (Westbrook, CT), 6-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Huskies confront the Portland Highlanders (Portland, CT) in a Shoreline challenge, on Friday, October 6. Morgan will attempt to move on its 7-0 season record. The Highlanders enter the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to St. Bernard (Uncasville, CT).
The Knights now possess a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Lyman Memorial for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 6. Westbrook will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over East Granby (East Granby, CT). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-2.
