The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Mountain Island Charter Raptor (Mt. Holly, NC) and the visiting Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC), saw Mountain Island Charter's volleyball squad beat Corvian Community by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Mountain Island Charter upgrades its record to 18-6 on the year. The Raptor host Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC) to play the Bears in a Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A bout on Tuesday, October 10. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 4-14. Bradford Prep lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Corvian Community (Charlotte, NC)
