Deshler Dragons (Deshler, NE) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Meridian Mustangs (Daykin, NE), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Dragons clash with the Exeter-Milligan/Friend (Exeter, NE) in a match, on Thursday, October 5. Deshler will attempt to advance on its 16-3 season record. The come into the match with a 13-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Lourdes Central Catholic (Nebraska City, NE).

With the loss, Meridian drops to 15-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Shelby-Rising City (Shelby, NE) to clash with the Huskies in a non-league match on Tuesday, October 10.
