In Thursday's league battle, the host Ursuline Academy Bears volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Nolan Catholic Vikings.

The Bears (19-7) will now prepare for their battle against John Paul II (Plano, TX). The Cardinals come into the TAPPS 6A District 1 battle with a 26-10 record. In their last battle, John Paul II defeated Parish Episcopal (Dallas, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.
