October 5, 2024: Maywood, IL 60153 Argo Argonauts (Summit, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Proviso East Pirates (Maywood, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Argo improves its record to 7-15 on the season. The Argonauts travel to Andrew (Tinley Park, IL) to face the Thunderbolts in a non-league test on Saturday, October 5. The Thunderbolts go into the test with a record of 5-14. Andrew lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL)
The Pirates now own a 0-21 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berwyn/Cicero Morton for a West Suburban- Gold test on Tuesday, October 8. Proviso East will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Argo (Summit, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-17.
