In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Niles Vikings volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Portage Central Mustangs.

The Vikings (10-10) will now prepare for their challenge against South Bend Adams (South Bend, IN). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 18-7 record. In their last challenge, South Bend Adams beat Mishawaka Marian (Mishawaka, IN), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Portage Northern Huskies (Portage, MI) in a Southwest Michigan - West challenge, on Wednesday, October 9. Portage Central will attempt to upgrade on its 19-19 season record. The Huskies enter the challenge with a 24-11 record after their 1-1 non-league Unity Christian (Hudsonville, MI).
